well the game has been out for almost a week now and i must say that it did not live up to its hype. Though fun it is short and easy. though with playing the demo of the ps3 version and completing the wii version there most likely is a big difference in game play, powers and even levels. though i have not played the actual ps3 game just the demo thats downloaded onto my ps3 this is just an hypothesis. though either way hard core starwars fans may find it hard to go through and slaughter countless wookies in the name of the emperor.
the point of the game is a simple one ye are the secret apprentice of Lord Vader and ye are sent out to do his bidding to help ye get stronger so together ye and vader can defeat the emperor and rule the galaxy with an iron fist. OBEY THE FIST! so ye go through everything and voila things happen then a little of this and that and boom the game is over takes about 8 hours for the whole game
the multiplayer feature is a nice touch and the character selection is vast and numerous with about 20 or so unlockable characters however the moves are all the same and even if ye are playing a jedi ye can use force lightning. this makes for a quick fighter thats different than other fighting games but the creativity behind it just isnt enough to really keep ones attention for long.
An ok story, terrific gameplay and shortness cause me to give this game a 2 1/2 out of 5 deffinatly a rented game anda buy for the hardcore fans. If they can handle the wookie slaughter that is

A very spot-on review, in my opinion. I played the PS3 version, by the way.
I was expecting a lot from this game, and while it is fun to use Force powers, it boils down to hack-n-slash. Or doing what I did, which was to constantly throw enemies with Force grab. Basically, it gets old fast. Not that it matters since you're right Sparky, it's a short game. PS3 version doesn't even have a multiplayer aspect to it, so once you're done, the only reason to go back is collect more of the holocrons (items you pick up to unlock costumes, new lightsaber colors, etc.).

I rented it, and though I am enjoying it I can see how it could be getting old fast. Still, I like that first boss where you fall through the atmosphere and eventually the floor gets too hot to touch. conversely, I don't like how if you fail one of those button combo movies that it just loops until you get it. I realize all games do that, but I still hate it.
